WHAT
Helio designs luxury fragrances that are a lighter and cleaner alternative to traditional European perfume. We embrace innovation in scent - both in how our scents smell and in the natural ingredients we use.
HOW
We work exclusively in a West Coast style. The West Coast style started in California in the 2000’s. It's an ingredient-based approach to fragrance that prioritizes natural materials and aims for simpler, less convoluted scents. It is a rejection of the “massification” of fragrance by mainstream perfume brands.
WHO
The Color Collection was created by Ralf Schwieger, one of the world’s most respected perfumers. Our founder is Christian Bohdan, who has a background in natural ingredients and is responsible for the creative vision of the brand.
WHY
Helio bridges the worlds of perfume and natural ingredients. Unlike most fragrance brands, we have a unique background in natural ingredients that informs our aesthetic. At the same time, we also have the expertise in perfumery to create elevated and exciting scents that go beyond being mere replicas of nature.
